Photo Credit: J.S Brown and Company

Many thanks to J.S Brown and Company, a custom remodeling company in Columbus, Ohio for sharing this transitional setting kitchen featuring our Tender by Faber. According to J.S Brown's marketing director Amber Durant, "This Kitchen remodel was part of a larger interior renovation to update a 1980's era contemporary-style home."

The stainless appliances matched in this kitchen with dark woods, neutral counter tops and flooring allows for the appliances to jump out and create a design statement. The subtle curves of the Tender make the hood a focal point in the kitchen and lend to the modern feel of the kitchen while still lending traditional elements.

The Tender hood with 600 cfm, 3 speed electronic blue LED backlit controls, halogen lights, auto shut off and intensive speed offers the power you need and the silence you seek. Affordable, attractive and you can buy with confidence knowing a 60 year old ventilation pioneer is behind the product. For more information visit faberonline.com

Classica hood in a Transitional New England Kitchen

Todays beautiful kitchen featuring our Faber Classica hood comes courtesy of Nathan J. Reynolds of Insperiors, a Interior Design firm in Rhode Island who helps clients create their dream spaces in Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

The kitchen design elements, vision and how the Classica fits are perfectly described by Nathan:

"The Classica stainless wall hood offers a high-end look to our North Dartmouth, Massachusetts kitchen design. The chimney style range hood provided traditional design elements, solid performance and an overall great look above the Frigidaire gas slide-in range.

The marble stone tile behind the hood frames the look and creates a strong focal point in the kitchen—accentuating the high ceiling height and beautiful crown molding atop the rich cherry custom wall cabinets. The tiled backsplash takes this kitchen from plain to lovely and layered.

The Classica stainless wall hood is minimalist and functional. I love to include Faber hoods whenever possible in my kitchen designs—as they look awesome and function well. They really do vent better than any other system out there. Plus, they don’t break the bank!" - Nathan J. Reynolds, Insperiors

This kitchen really does accentuate the best qualities of the Italian styled Classica, the hood is a traditional shaped chimney style model but yet has modern design elements including the simple lines to fit into a transitional kitchen or a traditional one. With 600 cfm, dishwasher safe grease filters, a 3 speed LED electronic control and halogen lighting, the Classica has all the features and functionality you need in a decorative kitchen range hood.

Visit Nathan's website for more information and to see his other Inspired Interiors and visit the Faber website for more information on the Classica and other models.

Stilo Wall hood in a stunning Canadian lakeside house

Many thanks to designer and cabinet fabricator Jason Syberg of Iron Wood Cabinet Company who used our Stilo wall hood in this beautiful lakeside kitchen located in Peachland, BC Canada, in the Okanagan lake region.

Jason had this to say about his kitchen design and how the Stilo wall hood fit:

"I designed and built this cabinet package for my own house. I wanted to use natural elements, wood, glass, and metal and have them showcased against a white backdrop. I combined quarter sawn walnut, aluminum and frosted glass doors, paint grade millwork, white quartz countertops, and stainless steel appliances including a Faber Stilo hood fan to create a clean modern look that complemented the amazing lake view this property had."

The Stilo because of it's sleek Italian design has always blended well in a contemporary setting. The hood compliments the entire kitchen and the clean lines of the hood match up with the horizontal lines of the cabinetry. And if Jason, a kitchen professional used our hood in his OWN HOME, that means he trusts Faber to be used by his clients! For more information see our website. Dama Classic Canopy Rangehood by Faber

The Dama range hood from Faber is a classic designer canopy hood with simple and elegant style. The two pictures shown in this posting, demonstrates how a classic designer hood can add so much to this traditional large scale open kitchen.

The clean, light colored traditional cabinets, the light tiles on the floor and the brick work behind the range hood, all match up well with the stainless appliances in this kitchen. The stainless appliances stand out and complement the cabinetry, flooring, island and walls.

The front nose of the Dama hood also perfectly matches the nose of the cooking appliance which is squared off with sharp edges. The arch way above the cooking and range hood also draw your attention towards the hood and stove. Finally the work surfaces and work flow in this kitchen appear very fluid and efficient. Despite the distance between the sink and stove, the center island is big enough that all prep work can be done there. For more information visit our website, faberonline.com

Tratto rangehood - a stunning glass and stainless steel hood

The Tratto Rangehood by Faber can be seen in this beautiful Boston area stainless steel kitchen. With a curved glass canopy and stainless steel construction, the Tratto can blend into many kitchen designs. In the case of this kitchen, the stainless refrigerator, oven and dishwasher all are complimented by the hood. There is also a true focal point created by the Tratto hood in this kitchen.

Minimalism is certainly being implemented in the overall kitchen design with basic cement tiles, simple dark wood cabinets with slim line drawer hardware. The stainless steel appliances are definitely the main attraction in this kitchen, and the glass canopy of the Tratto adds to the simple elegance of the kitchen. And finally, the ceran / smooth top, cooktop matches up perfectly with the Faber hood. Both products have clean lines and create more openness in the kitchen.

Tratto - glass and stainless beauty

The Tratto rangehood by Faber is a stunning hood that matches up well with a lot of cooking surfaces and room designs. For instance in this kitchen picture (courtesy of Euro-line Appliances) you see a traditional kitchen with dark counter tops and a gas cooktop, and neutral backsplash tiles. The Tratto which combines glass and stainless steel offers a "light" look in the kitchen because of the curved glass canopy section. As opposed to much larger canopy hoods on the market, the Tratto will still be the center of attention but yet won't detract too much from the wonderful kitchen design because it is a thin unobtrusive canopy. With a powerful 600 cfm pro motor, halogen lights and baffle style filters, the Tratto will perform very well over most cooking surfaces including pro gas cooktops/stoves - as seen in this photo. For more information visit the Tratto page on our website.

The Diamante Rangehood - the diamond shaped hood

Today's entry focuses on the Diamante rangehood by Faber. The Diamante found in this stunning kitchen, designed by Mark Daniels Kitchen and Bath Remodeling ; features a very sleek black ceran cooktop and the equally sleek Diamante hood by Faber. The Diamante's canopy section (before the chimney starts) is under 3 inches in height. The hood has a diamond edge (Diamante means diamond in Italian) on the corners that runs up the entire length of the hood. Notice the additional design elements that incorporate the diamond edge of the Diamante, with the marble tiles on the backsplash that are also diamond shaped.

With a powerful 600 cfm motor, this hood will handle all kitchen contaminents including grease, steam, odor and smoke. This kitchen really demonstrates a few key deisgn elements: 1) making the rangehood the center of attention in the kitchen design and 2) basic is beautiful - this is a basic kitchen design which is very clean, simple and most of all elegant and beautiful! Be sure to visit the website of Virginia based designer Mark Daniels and for more information on Faber click on over to us.
